Postpartum Doula Services Include...

Daytime Doula Care

  • Help with diaper changes (including cloth diapering)

  • Teaching and using infant soothing techniques

  • Assisting in latching and supply issues (pumping)

  • Baby wearing tips

  • Making a light meal or snack

  • Briefly watching other children (you're in the shower or you're feeding baby)

  • Caring for baby while parents nap

  • Dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, laundry

Before baby is born we can meet in person or virtually to discuss lactation concerns, new baby behavior and concerns or get help setting up nursery. We can work together to create a postpartum plan to share with your family and friends.

Overnight Doula Care

  • Arrive at night before you go to bed and stay for 6-8 hours

  • Care for baby if they're awake

  • Soothe baby when they're fussy

  • Change diapers

  • Bring baby to parents to feed or feed the baby a bottle

  • Communicate with texts to maintain your privacy

  • Wake you only if needed

  • Leave detailed notes of how the night went and follow up

This option allows parents to get much needed rest. The overnight package also includes brief daytime communication via text/email. If I think a daytime meeting would be beneficial for more Q&A time, it will be suggested.
